I started work on my O Pioneers! sweater. I’m using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport Multi in Baltic Sea. I love the colors: muted greens, grays, blues. From far away they look a bit muddy, but when you get them in the light, I think they are gorgeous. Since this is a top, I like to have more subtle colorings close to my face, so I think this will work well.
Unfortunately, I find now, with row 15 complete (and yes, that’s not many in the whole scheme of things), that I reversed a YO and a knit in an earlier row. It probably wouldn’t be that noticeable, except that it is close to the neck. I found it while admiring my work, and that I hadn’t made any mistakes. And then I saw it....
I was dejected. Everything else was perfect. The increases were right, the YO’s were lacy, and there it was.
And normally I don’t mind a bit of a mistake - I’m so proud of being able to make something by myself, a mistake is almost a badge of honor. But the “right” thing to do is correct it, I guess.
